Black's Beach

Discover one of America’s most famous nude beaches by heading to the Torrey Pines Glider Port. Follow your mapping app to the destination and drive up a small driveway onto a dirt lot. Keep going north, park at the northern-most section of the lot, and walk to the cliff’s edge. Look for a “Danger” sign, indicating you’re in the right spot. The path down is steep, but manageable with good shoes and determination. Head right and walk north to find the area where many gay beachgoers gather. Enjoy the diverse crowd, from speedo-clad sunbathers to board-short-wearing surfers. Bring a boogie board and watch for dolphins, especially in warmer months. Remember to take your trash with you when you leave!
