Chef Surbhi Sahni initially launched TAGMO as an Indian mithai confectionary company, located steps from the South Street Seaport. The full-service restaurant, which followed, features a kitchen that primarily employs women and queer folks. Sahni’s menu draws inspiration from regional homestyle cuisine, offering dozens of dishes at various spice levels.
