The High Line

If you haven’t visited the new High Line yet, now’s the time! This park, built on a historic freight rail track from the 1930s, is a gem in the city. While the last train ran on the High Line in 1980, its transformation into a park began in 2009 with the opening of Section 1. This urban oasis features grassy areas, public art installations, and stunning views. The second section opened in the summer of 2011, adding to the park’s charm and beauty.
